Nine-member boy band ZE:A will take part in attracting tourists to Korea as PR ambassadors of the Korea Tourism Organization [KTO].
A Star Empire Entertainment official told the magazine Tuesday that ZE:A will be appointed as the promotional ambassadors for KTO at the appointment ceremony scheduled at the Cheonggye Stream on September 1.
"KTO officials explained that they chose ZE:A as PR ambassadors since they have quite a following from Japan and other neighboring Asian countries. They are expecting this will contribute to tourism in Korea," the Star Empire rep said.
In the meantime, ZE:A [Children of the Empire] are prepping to kick off promoting their new single, "Phoenix," which hit stores simultaneously in Korea and Japan on August 27.
The boys will stage their powerful comeback performance for "Phoenix" on Mnet's music program "M! CountDown" this Thursday.
