K-pop idol group 2PM’s member Nichkhun, who got into a car accident while driving under the influence, will be forwarded to the local public prosecutor's office.
An official from Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said Nichkhun will be examined by prosecutors on Thursday, according to Korea's entertainment news agency STARNEWS' report Tuesday.
The report also said the local police officers is at the last stage of investigating the case and will deliver all records on the accident to the prosecutors' office on Thursday.
On July 24, Nichkhun rear-ended a motorcycle in southern Seoul while driving with a blood alcohol concentration level of 0.056 percent, which leads to the suspension of his driver's license.
Nichkhun and the motorcyclist came to an agreement on July 31 and the idol star visited the police office to get further investigations on August 2.
In the meantime, Nichkhun has halted his all activities for self-reflection and did not attend the firm's joint concert, "JYP Nation," which was held in Seoul on August 4.
Additionally, 2PM’s new Japanese album that was initially scheduled to hit the shelves in July has also been postponed indefinitely due to his car accident.
